Meter box wind noise problems

Hi

I have an electrical meter box that backs onto a bedroom gyprock wall, and we are getting quite a lot of wind noise through that wall . the house is weatherboard and the meter box is metal with a hinged fuse and meter board.

What I was wondering is what action I can take on the meter housing, particularly behind the board to reduce noise - eg car firewall insulation, lead sheet?, etc. Although I expected that i cant use sealeants or expanding foam for heat reasons - it struck me that heat isnt likely considered such a big problem given the wires are all packed together into about a 10cm diameter bunch and held together with zip ties.

Is the Meterbox sealed with a sealant around the outside?
Has the meterbox been slightly recessed into the weatherboards or is it surface mounted?
The cables exiting the meterbox located behind the hinged panel into the wall cavity"should be" sealed off with fire resistant mastik?

outside sealed - yes
recessed - yes
fire resistant mastik - no! - there's a start.
