Cheap sleepers?
Hi all,
been a while since I visited the forum.
Anyone in the Werribee, Hoppers area in Melbourne know a source of cheapish sleepers?
I want to make a few garden beds and find the prices in the local shops outrageous.
I have also been told not to use treated pine for veggies as they can leak toxins into the soil. I am not ready to start glowing yet so I would like to avoid treated wood.
cheers
tourgy

What prices are you being quoted?
Regum sleepers are $15 for 200x50mm x2.4m & $24 for 200x75mm x 2.4m at Bunnings.

Hey BB. Yep that is about the price.
Unless I can find some cheaper I will just use some house bricks I have lying around. I'm not too fussed how it looks , just want functionality as I will be growing vegies.
