Post supports rotted
G'day,
The wood post supports for my carport have rotted at the base, presumably from contact with water. I can see a metal pipe that extends from the base of the post to the concrete floor because some of the wood has rotted away. How would I go about replacing the post supports? Should I use galvanised post supports that have a "stirrup" for the wood post?

A stirrup is a good idea but just be careful of the pipe and the edge of the slab that looks cracked.
