Colorbond mini-orb fastening
Hi forumites,
I'm looking for a 'rule-of-thumb' about how many screws to use for fixing colorbond mini-orb (as roofing for a small gazebo)? The colorbond web page info sheet shows tables with number of fasteners for different thickness sheets with different wind areas and different span lengths and span types and its all too confusing. I'm hoping there is some simple rule for mini-orb colorbond, such as screw through every 4th or 6th ridge.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Adam

G'day Ivan,
Bummer, but that's the page that confused me.
Assuming I've got .42mm thick sheeting and my roofing is single span with supports with centres of 450mm - am I supposed to use 6 fasteners per support or 11?
And what do the figures 6.30, 12.00, 6.20 and 11.70 represent in the column headed Span (mm) 450?
Why to span tables have to be so complicated?
Curiously,
Adam

Why don't you click the contact us link on that page and ring them up?
The manufacturers help lines that I have called have been very good.
