Lost threads
Are you like me? You know there is a thread or a post on something. The search gives you nothing and it nags at you.
I would love a thread where you could ask members: Where is that post on the Triton WC used for milling small logs.
(If anyone knows please tell me).

Its a matter of trying various combinations of keywords till you find what you want.
And asking in case someone has it bookmarked
Sometimes the thread isn't there anymore as some one has lodged a crude etc comment and the whole thread has been moved to the restricted section.
All in all its a major pain in the bum finding something you know is there.

If you post a critical thread, without being offensive,
why does it sometimes disappear?
even when other posters support it

It disappeared because it should have been reported via the report post icon as the forum rules require. Once that is done the administration team are made aware of it by email and can deal with it.
That way the administrators can (hopefully) avoid the situation blowing out of proportion and correct it.
