Framing alignment for blueboard
Hi all
How critical is the framing for a blueboard wall as regards flatness/alignment, the CSR fixing manual says 4mm over 3meters. Looking over the 90x45 treated pine framing that has been delivered (42 lengths of 4.2m) I can find very few that are this straight. I've put up two sections 3m long x 2.7m high and even though I took great care to make sure that all joints were aligned, if I run a straight edge over the framing some of the studs seem to bow out by 5-6mm or more. If I look along the length of the framing it looks fine. If I do need to fix the bowed studs how is this done?
