Here it is, the place to list your Christmas wins, I'll kick it off with my only WW gift - a set of mortising chisels.
(Wood Borer, ever since using yours I've wanted a set, two years wasn't so long to wait .)

No gloat for me. SWMBO decided to get me a toaster as it seemed I was always complaining about the old one and that SWMBO was tired of me making burnt toast for my little girl.
Nothing tool related for me this year , I must've been a bad boy.
Noice chisels Groggy, noice . Can you get your SWMBO to speak to mine how I need tools, maybe then I'll get something next year.

I got what I really wanted, but wasn't going to ask for: a youthful sense of zest, resilience and invulnerability.
Unfortunately, this arvo I started to sober up and discovered I wasn't as young as I felt.

Santa struggled down the chimney with a Ryobi Thicknesser and a Carba Tec 6'' Jointer.
So, who has been a good boy then? Or I am getting cleverer of covering up my tracks and knowing my place in this household.

Ta Waldo, this year I emailed a LV wishlist and some links to Lie Nielsen to the missus and kids (first time for this). Funny thing is, I thought I took the chisels off the list because they were too dear. Now I have to go out in the shed and hit my lovely gift with a hammer !
They must be saving the tools for your birthday .

what Santa put in my stocking
12" Starrett combination square
6" Starrett double square
#71 Router plane
Plus the money to pay for items 1, 2 & 3
buying my own gift always works
Waldo — now you now how the missus felt when you gave her that iron last Mother's Day.
a tip for next year, if you don't like how the toaster works, replace it yourself or substitute bread for toast when you do scrambled eggs
best wishes to everyone
