    Count me in too!
I have been off the radar for a while, so it will be great to catch up!
If anyone needs a lift I will be driving from the Centenary Suburbs?
    Cheers

Hi Teejay, I would love to come and maybe Mrs mic-d too, but if not, then at least I might be able to get her to bake one of her awesome cheese cakes - Wendy might give a recommendation!

    Cheers

Michael, splinter, soundman and Neil - good to have you along.

Hopefully for interest we will have Rockers joints to test.

I will also set up an area where one of you really experienced operators of the Domino can do a presentation for those that don't know much about them. I have a Domino here but welcome a presenter (Rocker or Major or Midge? )

I will do a demo on a couple of things I have here - poor mans woodwhizz https://www.woodworkforums.com/showth...710#post534710 and chainsaw mill on some mulga or gum (without nails or bolts included )

Cheese cake will be most welcome Mic.
    Cheers

Thanks Soundman, but that once was more than enough - if someone has a small log they want sliced by the mill (up to one metre long and 300-400 dia will be quick enough max) - don't want to spend too much time on this project it is a demo not a workday . and then levelled with the poormans woodwhizz we'll give it a go NO NAILS OR BOLTS IN IT THOUGH
    Cheers

I've got some burls I'd love sliced for clocks & family trees TJ, small by your standards, but too big for my bandsaw. I was going to buy a mill for Xmas, but ended up getting a new BBQ and water blaster. I'll have to wait until at least my birthday now.

No worries - bring them along and we will whizz them through the mill and try a bit of levelling as well. I'll level one - if you want more done the setup is there for your use

I assume you will only want them about 30-40mm finished thickness. I will have whizz set up for about that. If thick 50-60mm then I have to add some packers - haven't set-up for thicker yet.
    Cheers

Rocker has kindly put up two of his famous rocking chair dvd's as lucky door prizes - thankyou very much David I am sure there will be a couple of very happy winners for these.

Rocker will also have viewing during the day a digital photo-frame with a collection of images of his works over the past 12 years. Will be great to have that there as I won't be able to impress anyone with any fine furnitures of my doing thanks again Rocker.

I will shortly send along my address to those coming that don't have it yet. I would appreciate a return message just letting me know how many coming from each just for catering sake. If the final number is a couple more or less that's fine too.
    Cheers

I have just spent 5 hours out there this afternoon pouring a slab outside the shed to give the area some space to use - most likely set upi the poor mans wood whizz on it.

Went out to finish it off around the edges and it was raining all over my nice new concrete - damn - so I cover it best I could with roof sheeting - forget the nice rounded edge to the slab. Hmmm

Sure hope we get better weather than this stuff recently next weekend. Either way even if it is average we have plenty of undercover room for gathering and chatting. Even the pool is under cover so you don't get wet whilst swimming
