Tiles, Wall, Kitchen: Removal
I am trying to remove kitchen wall tiles to enable a new kitchen to be fitted tomorrow. What is the best way to remove the tiles? Or am I best to rip out the gyprock and put a new sheet in? Fast advice appreciated.

I ended up ripping the gyprock off tiles and all cutting to the top of splashback height in my place and didnt even worry about sheeting it because the cupboards covered it after that i just cut a sheet from bechtop height to the top of the splashbacks that is by far the quickest did not have to worry about setting the gyprock because the glass splashback went straight over the top of everything easy!

Rip the gyprock off Groggy, in my kitchen install days, we probably replaced at least 80% of tiled walls with fresh gyprock as the tiles would just rip the paper and half the plaster out in most cases.

Thanks for the advice DJ and Patty. I got the wall in at midday after racing home from work after a meeting. Slapped in some gyprock just before the upper cabinets went in. Tiler can fix the rough bits and bury it under cement sheet.
