My mum
Hi all. Been busy for a while on important family matters. I am sad to say that my mum passed away Monday just gone (Dec 2) aged 73 years, from inoperable cancer of the brain and liver. I hadn't spoken to or seen her for 20+ years due to the bloody pig-headedness of both of us. 20 years that I seriously regret losing though she was only 10 minutes drive away from me. However, when I decided to take the plunge on Saturday to visit her after my brother told me of her rapidly impending death we reconciled and made our peace. She died happy about that and I can go on knowing she died happy. A mother's love for her first born is stronger than any of the West Epoxy stuff (it is good stuff but
) and I guess thats what drew us together in her last painful hours. I sat with her broken shell long after her beautiful but pained spirit had left for a better place than the life she endured. She was my mother and I loved her. With my late brother - Leon - again.
