Spear & Jackson
I was in Bunnings at lunch time, they had a 1650 watt 225mm Mitre compound saw for $119. I think the brand name is correct, has anyone got any thoughts on if it would be worth that money?

Spear & Jackson = ETC ??
Hi there,
a bit more digging around on these tools seems to suggest the the Spear & Jackson tools are re-branded ETC ones (or visa versa....)
see http://www.aaa.com.au/automotive/etc-mitre-saws.html for a piccie of the ETC version.
Mitre 10 has the ETC saws as well - the boxes and graphics and colouring (Port Power teal no less!!) are the same and the S&J ones at Bunnings, just a different name.
I still haven't found any feedback from anyone who has actually used one though.
Cheers,
Geoff
