I am going to paint my pailing fence which is looking a bit old and ratty. Does anyone have any suggestions on what cleaning solution to use before I hit it with the gerni?

Is it painted already? Or raw timber?
If it's raw or oiled, perhaps you could try some Deck Clean? (Just a guess - I'm not expert)
