Revarnishing cabinets & doors
I'm doing up a unit and the kitchen cabinets and a screen to hide the fridge are varnished Jarrah veneer on particle board.
I have washed all veneer surfaces with sugar soap to remove any grease and given a light sanding with steel wool.
Now I need a bit of advice about applying a clear satin coat.
1. Do I need any further preparation?
2. I would prefer to apply with a cloth to get a furniture look finish.
Any advice appreciated.
