Skew you dill, Ms Kelly is in power (until tomorrow) and her hubby is one of the ones caught out, as is the hubby of the woman standing to replace her. So its a case of caught out doing what they have been doing all year. Of course neither wife new what was going on, yeah, right, my wife knows what I'm going to do before I've even thought of doing it, so that isn't going to wash with the electorate.

Of course we can't lie about anything, but I'm under the impression that politicians, along with large corporations, are fair game as far as critical comment and mockery goes.
I believe that it goes with the territory, but someone with a bit more knowledge may be able to clarify that point.

I dont think the political class has that power yet...... Im sure they will give it to themselves. One day soon opposing opinion will be silenced, whoever gets in. Ive been watching Pakistan quite closely. Australia is steadily heading down the same path. BTW I think I slandered the message not the messenger.

Hi Ruddigar, Weve actually been redistributed into Macquarie from Lindsay, I just found out. The said lady was my neighbour for a while. Its a pity she's gone, no more placards to draw moustaches on....., our area is very light on on placards this time, or visiter come to think of it. Jacki Kelly won the election where Johnny 1st got in. She beat the sitting member Ross Free who had held the seat for years. Labour challenged as Ms Kelly was still suspected to be technically a Kiwi but the challenge was not upheld and we had a revote. She won by 12%. The famous scene where John called the Government together for the first time was enhanced by the last minute arrival of Ms Kelly and Johnnys pronouncement of her win as "the sweetest victory of all". I think he had a soft spot for her as he made her Tourism and Sport minister for the Olympics but she quit the ministery to have kids. I think they share the same essentialist outlook. She has never impressed me as a media performer and her speeches in the parliment, well lets say she was never a shining intellect.

As for the pamphlet and values, Johnny was the only Fraser minister to vote against taking refugees from Vietnam at the end of the American war. He has a long history of playing wedge politics with race, probably why he gets on well with Ms Kelly. As for the values his are still White Australian 50's values.
