    Default Hose Reel

I need a really good hose reel for at least 50m 12mm., manual wind, nothing flash just very well made and durable.

Bunnings have stuff good for a week but I would like something to last many years.

I have seen some that are more designed for high pressure and the like which retail for over $400.

The US has plenty of choices like Rapid Reel.

Apart from making my own any idea of brands and suppliers.

    Thanks

You will probably need to go through a few links to find it as I don't think that link will bring it up.

What's wrong with a trailer hub and steel wheel....it aint flash but it works...of course if you want a a fixed centre hose on it you might need to see the bloke at Enzed.

Another alternative is the made in Oz Recoila H series hand crank units http://www.recoila.com.au/content/5/4 or (pdf) http://www.recoila.com.au/dyn/media/...nloadable_file
Ours is not to reason why.....only to point and giggle.

There does not seem to be a market for quality domestic hose reels.

The recolia hand cranked were over $400.

The market is more orientated towards commercial for high pressure.

I have purchased a Gasweld one which should do the trick although need to buy a swivel to attach the hose.

In hind sight I could have made my own.

    Thanks for the suggestions
