Geoff ..... I guess like myself you came across this post via the "new post" function. It wasn't until after I searched the GMC site that I noticed that this was listed under the "Woodies Jokes" forum.
Well done Ian .... it looks as if you have landed at least three of us
Now where is that delete post options so I can remove all evidence that I have been had?Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

You could tell that it wasn't real GMC, it's the wrong colour.

Hi Bob,
Im affraid that if GMC did get a picture then they might just start selling them under the GMC badge, and then all our hard earned money spent on very expensive tools would be instantly worth about 1/10th of what we have spent.
Sir Stinkalot,
no i did not play with the pics in photoshop, I cut out the GMC logo from one of those $39 router,s box and stuck them on the machines. sorry guys thought someone would get a laugh out of it, i know i did.
I also put one on my table saw but the wider picture didnt show the GMC logo,s very clearly so only used the one above.
So the challenge is.
who can come up with there own funny photo.
not something from the net but there own pic. wether it be a set up or a real picture

I have this theory that the blue ink on the GMC stickers actually gives off volatile fumes that drop motor power, reduce lifespan, increase noise and put machinery out of alignment.
Better get those stickers off your machines quick Ian, or that 15" thicknesser will have trouble producing wedge-shaped bits of radiata pineThe Australian Woodworkers Database - over 3,500 Aussie Woods listed: http://www.aussiewoods.info/
