things seem a little dull
things seem a little dull around here at the moment.
anyone feel like posting somthing we can get our brains around?
or vent about. How about truly awful clients?
or amazing science stuff weve seen, or an amazing act of courage (or stupidity)

Astrid
You have two threads going with the same title and the other one has more in it. That's probably why you think it was edited.

Some one must have deleted it.

Astrid, you posted the same thread twice except this version did not have all of the text the other one did. That thread was deleted as is normal procedure by another moderator (not Watson)
I would ask you not to be soo hasty accusing someone of editing your posts!
FWIW I have now edited your post to put the other info from the now deleted second thread into you first post here!Have a nice day - Cheers

No he did not
The other one was deleted because it was considered a duplicate.
Not deleted because of content, but because it was the second one submitted. You should have added or edited the original thread not start another one.Last edited by DJ’s Timber; 20th November 2007 at 07:47 PM. Reason: dang W B beat me

I'm a little worried about this.
Yesterday somone locked a political, but perfectly civilised thread in "nothing to do with woodwork"
we have a few days to go before the media blackout
Some folk on this forum enjoy political debate
I (mistakenly) asked a moderator if he was responsible and was replied to, I asked who to direct my concern to and have had no reply.
now I post an innocuous thread to get some disscussion going about, life, science or rotten clients, and it gets edited,
whats going on?

Astrid
What happens sometimes is if you start a thread and you click on Submit Reply and then change your mind and you click the stop button and add some further comments and then click the Submit reply button again you will end up with two threads and as Wood Butcher said the Mods usually delete duplicate threads before you realise you have created two threads.
See WB post.
