Bubbles in new paintwork first coat
Hello,
Yesterday I put the first coat of 'satin' over 'flat' previous painted wall with an average sort of roller. I noticed little bubbles straight away but thought they would disappear as the paint dried. No luck
What did I do wrong. How do I fix this before second coat and prevent it happening again...
Please!!!
Cheers to you all

What sort of paint were you using? A roller will initially cuase some bubbles on the rolled surface - but yeh they should burst and pull in.
The longer the nap on the roller the more bubbles are made. Gloss and maybe satin should generally be applied witha short nap roller.
It could also be that the paint is old and has partly oxidised cuasing thick gluggy texture. When paint goes like this it seems to lose its levelling properties.
