To be honest I generally like the idea of keeping the wooding forum as my "virtual" friends .... and perhaps it may the the red talking .... however I think I may be interested in shrugging off my introverted tendencies and coming along. Generally we try and take an overseas holiday at this time of the year but we have delayed it in 2008 so that we can make it 6 months. For some reason the 5th sounds like it is generally busy but I am sure that I can be free .....
Kman-oz if you are interested in having a stinky along please remind me again in late December ...... Laverton works well for me!
I fit the bill ..... I am lacking experience ..... I like a bite and a pint.
Cheers

Everyone is welcome Stinky.
My mate Jim will be coming, he's recently got into some box making so he *may* have something to show off. The good news is I have some beer left from the Christening.... I'll *try* to save y'all some

Feel free to advertise, perhaps post in the WWW section... ignore that, I'll do it myself
I'll ask Jim to bring his missus along, if any of you folks care to bring partners/family please feel free. My wife Jenny will be around, and the little man will get introduced as well

G'day kman,
Am I allowed to put my name down too??
I live in Avoca, but one of my kids lives in Hoppers Crossing, and his Birthday is on the eigth of January, so I could kill three birds with the one stone:
1. meet you people
2. bludge a night at one of my kids places
3. save postage on his Birthday pressie...then bugger off back into the wilds of Central Victoria.

Update: All up there will be about 15 of us, which suites me because my place just isn't that big
Between 15 people the beer I have won't last long, so I'd suggest bringing a drink along if you plan to have a couple. Might I also ask that if anyone feels like helping out with food (salads, bread, what ever...) I'd appreciate your help The BBQ I can handle; burgers, snags, et al, but if you feel like bringing something along PM me.
Please send me a PM to confirm you intention to attend so that I can arrange meat, seating and all that jazz.
See y'all soon!"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
