Solenoid valve problems
After many years manually opening and closing gate valves for my reticulation, I have finally installed solenoid valves and a sprinkler controller. I did the installation myself after gathering advice and tips from friends and family who had done DIY retic jobs. Unfortunately, I now think that I may have placed a solenoid valve too close to my pump as I now get shuddering in the pipes and lose pressure to the point that the there is no flow of water.
Are my valves too close to the pump? Any suggestions

Are the solenoids you've installed 12V or 24V?
Does the controller put out 12V or 24V to the solenoids?
How far is the solenoid in question from the controller?
What is the voltage AT the solenoid?
What is the supply pressure of the pump?
What is the maximum supply pressure that the solenoids can handle?Ours is not to reason why.....only to point and giggle.
