    Could anyone please tell me the bird specie above?

    Where's our resident fact checker when they are needed

    I would hazard a guess at a Rosella or a Lorikeet, but then I'm always getting those two mixed up.

    He/She and all his/her family still feed here every day. If we attempt to sleep in, either the Rosellas, King Parrots, Magpies, Currawongs or Bower Birds know where our bedroom is where they tap on the window or make a noise until we feed them!

    Yep, it's the crimson rosella all right. The young ones sometimes have a bit of green in them too, mixed up in the blue on the wings. Devon's a long way from home.

    Yep definatley a Crimson or also known a a mountain lowry in some places. Beautiful birds

    He's changed his accent since John was here, probably to lure John into a false sense of security before the ambush.

    The call is now something like "I am not amused, Pom Pom Yum, Pom Pom Yum".
