converting built in gutters anyone want to do it?
I've got a 1955 BV house in West Sunshine Vic. like Howard Arkleys painting. But worse. Its got those nasty built in gutters. I want to rip em out as 1: the fascia boards are rotten in places and desperately need paint
2: we've ordered some water tanks and want to run the gutters to one outlet
Questions are:
1 Is it much of a drama/cost to get the electric point of attachment moved?
2 Can I install fascia less gutters on a older house? Are they higher capacity?
3 The house is triple fronted, I want to run the guttering to one outlet at the rear corner of the house is this going to be a pain
4 Can the job be done without ripping up roof tiles on my recently restored roof (wasn't planning to do this job when I got the roof done)or at least not ripping up the pointers?
5 Does anyone want to do this job? I can't get any tradies to turn up even to quote, Its too big a job to tackle on my own.
6 What sort of price am I looking at, the house is about 14m sq's
