I'd grab my friend who just dropped out of college as things were getting too tight and whatnot, and I'd shake him and say "you're not getting out of it this easy, we were going to take physics II together and by golly we're going to do it" then I'd march into the bursars office and say, "how much do you sorry robber barons want to keep my comrade here in the game, and then I'd pay it. If I had any of the $30M left after that then we'd go out for a round of drinks.

Seriously though, do you realize how much $30M would/could change your life? A lot of people can't handle it and end up in ruin. It can bring out the worst in you, your family, your friends, major lifestyle change, some people hit the rocks when the recognize money doesn't make you happy, it can have a real ugly side that nobody ever really thinks about.

I'm sure I could handle it though, in fact, I think I'd be really good at it.

Saw what winning the one of the first Opera House Lotteries did some relations split the family in the end.

As Hebal said to Jacob the paying tax on the investment would send me broke.

Remember - the winner of the 1st Opera House lottery (Then the biggest in Australia) had his son kidnapped & killed.

On a happier note: If I won a big prize, I'd help my mate pay off his factory unit, probably buy one myself for a workshop & a townhouse to live in. Then my Mum can do what she likes as I won't be around

But I wouldn't be advertising to all & sundry that I was that cashed up - still a bargain hunter at heart.

Of course with $30 Million, maybe I could open the first Lee Valley franchise in Australia - after all I do have the right surname

But I'd have to buy a ticket first.........

I have something I call the Lottery Test as a marriage barometer.

If you won the Lotto, would you look forward to all the things you and the wife/husband could do?

Or would you say "Here's your half, dear. Now shove off!" ?

Will tell you all you need to know about your marriage.
    Cheers,

    Bob
