New user with some queries
Good evening all,
My name is Ben and i am im the process of making a private offer on a property in Brisbane. The property is on about 860sqm and is zoned BR3, as such we are hoping to get approvals to build a couple of townhouses behind the existing house on the block.
The main issue and possibly a showstopper is the width of access required to access the townhouses. I am under the impression currently for the width of access required, the house is going to have to be moved 3-4 metres across the block. I AM NOT planning on building under the house i "simply" want to move it across.
I have read a number of posts on this forum and also homeone about lifting and restumping etc etc costing roughly 30-40k including plumbing/electricity, but i have found nothing about shifting the house.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to do this?
If it can be done for under 50k then the project could be a goer, but if not then the margins are really starting to collapse.
Thankyou kindly for the response.
Regards,
Ben
