"Hidden" decking fasteners
Hello all,
any opinions on these plastic biscuit things you fit between the decking planks and therefore no nails or screws on the deck's surface?
I found these on ebay.
It sounds like a bit more work with a biscuit joiner, but then again, no rows of nails or screws to detract from the finished job.
A secondary benefit I can see is they'd also shed water off the top of the joist.Ray

Not a fan as it bridges the gaps between the boards so has to lesson the amount of movement the boards have before wanting to pop which is the reason for the gap in the first place..... Plus its not marketable as most customer other than diy won't pay for it
if you do use it post what you think for all to benefit and again in 18 months once the boards and coating have weathered
cheers utemad
