    Question Dried out Traditional Wax

I guess this is one for Neil ... I've some Ubeaut Traditional Wax which has dried out a bit in the container. It is still useable but I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to soften it up a little and make application easier?

Try heating it up. Place it in a pan of hot water. Do not put on stove with flame. Heat the h2o. Repeat until soft.

You can soften anything if you know the base product.
Try mineral spirits on a little chunk. if that does not work try denatured alcohol.
You can try paint thiner or laquer thiner. If you use the wrong thing you will change the properties.

After consultation with the Grand Poobah via smoke signals he reckons add some turps or put some turps on a cloth and use that to pick up the wax.

DO NOT leave the rag in the jar and put the lid on.

Thanks (and therefore Grand PooBah). Much appreciated.
