Ensuite paint suggestions.
I have finally arrived at the painting and tiling stage of my ensuite reno
After some advice on paints.
The ensuite has new villaboard on most of it, wet area plasterboard on the ceiling. What sealer/primer/undercoat should be used on the new board? Is an anti mould treatment required?
Is there a special wet area ceiling top coat i should use?
The walk in robe that adjoins the ensuite has a villaboard ceiling. The old paint here is flaking off the ceiling i will be sanding it right back to the board. What will i need to apply here to reduce that chances of the new paint flaking prematurely?
Sorry for lots of questions
Cheers
Gary

You can use a 3 in 1 primer sealer undercoat and then apply 2 coats of Dulux Mouldshield. If you do not want to pay for the mouldshileld try an acrylic satin.

When I painted our renovated bathroom, I told the paint guy that I was painting a bathroom. He suggested an anti-mould additive mixed into the Haymes low sheen acrylic - a couple of dollars extra I think.
