Default Need Parquetry without need to sand & polish - possible?

    Hi,
My 7 year old house has a section with parquetry flooring. It was laid as raw timber pieces and sanded & polished (traditional process). I now have an extension to this section which measures less than 5 m2. Obviously its not a good idea cost wise to do the entire process for just this little bit. IS there any pre-finished parquetry or look alike product available that can be easily laid out in this small area?

    Thanks!

Why not lay the normal parquetry and have it sanded and seal as per normal. The floor finisher will be able to feather in the new section.
    Hooroo.

There are some types of pre-finsished parquetry but they look nothing like real parquetry. Further to what glock40sw said, even if you match the timber perfectly it will still be a different colour at first. this being from the usual colour changing process that it goes through. this would catch up over a 6-12 month period though.
