Blistering under glued vinyl
I glued a small sheet of vinyl using Kwik Grip to finish a section to left and above the stove top and there has been some bubbling/blistering, as per the pics. The trim piece is 670mm above the stovetop and 180mm to the left. It begs the obvious question, is heat likely to be the cause? I would have thought there was adequate separation.
For the repair, I will probably need to remove it, clean it up and figure some alternative. I do not want to retry glueing it if heat is the issue.

heat will make vinyl soft and also break down the bond of contact adhesives like kwik grip. From the photo it looks just like a bubble left from the glueing process.
Next time the stove and microwave are running feel if the wall cabinet sides are getting warm or moist. If so then vinyl is the wrong material for that cover panel.
