Chasers... Jail term ?
I personaly dont think they'll do time, the poilice and bigheads have been humiliated but I bet the judges see the funny side. Then again we're talking about NSW court system are'nt we

If they do time the whole affair will get so blown out of proportion.... no pollie will allow that. But they will cop a fine, for sure
On LNL the other night Philip Adams described the benefits of doing time, eg the career progressions of the likes of Mandela, tee hee...."We must never become callous. When we experience the conflicts ever more deeply we are living in truth. The quiet conscience is an invention of the devil." - Albert Schweizer

If they do time, I'll paint my ???? blue and wave it in the breeze. That would be just the most ridiculous waste of time and effort.
There was a young boy called Wyatt
Who was awfully quiet
And then one day
He faded away
Because he overused White
Floorsanding in Canberra and Albury.....

Depends on whether the judges like their show.

They need to be careful these people. OK it is a joke and I find some of the stuff funny too but sometimes they need to back off a bit.

- There was special APEC legislation that means that they probably committed an offence
- If they are prosecuted, they will almost certainly be found guilty
- they should be required to provide 300 hours of community service - there will be no benefit in sending them to gaol, but if they can proide entertainment to people who have really rough lives, then that would mean that they have in net terms done a good thing.
Cheers

They did nothing wrong, if the security cordon was working ie: someone actually checked they would not have even got past the first gate......
Lovely society we have, where democratic rights are legislated away to protect the elite.......

i had a little think about this, and i came to the conclusion they have done nothing wrong.
its not against the law ( as far as i know anyway ) to dress up as osama bin laden and jump out of a car. they were in the exclusion zone legally because they were let in after security checks. the only thing i can think of that they have done wrong is that they were impersonating a nation motorcade, but still they were granted entry
????
cheers
ps. i'm still annoyed because i missed the show last night, i stupidly thought it wasnt on till 930....well, i can watch it on the website anyway so yeah.S T I R L O
