Woodies shops around Korumburra?
We're looking at moving house, maybe to Korumburra, VIC. It's only at the "Will I, won't I?" stage, but still...
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what sort of access to timber supplies, tool stores, etc. there is in the area?
I despise living in suburbia, but I must admit that it's damned nice having easy access to Bunnies, Carbatec, etc. And only a stone's throw to the Woodsmith. I'll miss that more than anything.

That is Ponderrosa timber, purveyor of quality treated pine etc although he has a pile of ironbark hidden out the back.
Like said, Beenatree at Loch (not Beena which is just up the road a bit), back track to Warragul, used to be Mitre 10 but now independent, Dahlsens, we have a bloke here who sells redgum if you can ever find him, Peter Toogood, bugger, I just realised, you will only be about 20 minutes from me.
A few plus' are you are close to Dandenong, Frankston etc and sod all traffic lights, I get to Frankston in about 30 minutes from my place (I am about 3km from the highway not in town).
You are close to Leongatha and Wonthaggi (Big W, Aldi etc).
All in all it is a fairly central spot.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Thanks fellas. It's nice to know there's more options than Bunnies in Cranny or Mitre10 in Cowes. [phew!] You're reasonably safe for a couple more years at least, Iain, there's a few responsibilities that I need to see through first. But once they're out of the way... well, Korumburra is looking good at the moment. Either there, we head back out t'other side of Ballaraat or Tassie.
I reckon that within 6 months of our leaving, the house & shed will be 'dozed over and half-a-dozen cheap units will spring up overnight. I'm sure they won't notice a couple of extra tons of sawdust here and there.
That was the initial bait used to tempt me when the subject was first raised by SWMBO. I bit hard, too.
