What CD can you listen to over & over again?

I've got the Pulse CD too. So far I've replaced the batteries twice, usually after it has stopped flashing for months, or even years. Better check it again I suppose. Got the DVD for Christmas last year.

Cliff, Beyond nature is the only one I really like. I think he's done a couple of other acoustic albums that I've never chased up. He's also done a bit of rock and roll stuff that's doesn't excite me. Check this link to one of the tracks on youtube.

A reconstruction of what they think is authentic Incan music, played on what they think are authentic Incan instruments, such as pan-pipes made from llamas leg-bones and banjo type thingys (highly technical musical term there. ) made from the shells of armadillos?

Who really knows if they got it right? It's not like there's any Incas still around to ask... but it is a hauntingly lovely album if one is in the right frame of mind.

Just to toss a classical spanner in the works, J Stamitz Trumpet Concerto in D Allegro non troppo presto, Hakan Hardenberger with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, absolutely brilliant stuff, the trumpet just comes in out of nowhere in what seems to be a pleasant pastoral piece, quite uplifting.
And for Skew, I'll play for you next time I see you, I once performed the complete works of Gaspar Sanz for a regional TV network some years ago, Bream is one of my favourites and of late the Zoltan brothers with their rendition of some Scarlatti harpsichord works.
