good news to those who know mrs. jow104
Janet & I were in Australia last year for the spring and summer 06/07. and you might recall that Janet fell over and broke her thigh which meant hospitalisation at Hornsby/Sydney and having a complete hip joint operation.
10 months later she is quite happy to give you all a wave from our garden steps picking runner beans ( stick beans). So if anyone has one of these ops. coming up, look on the bright side.

Good news. John. Looks like Aussie hips are as good as Aussie hops. How much Aussie do you need to have in you before you can get dual citizenship?
Cheers

The red building is the artist studio
The glass building is the guest room.
The workshop is a double garage pics below.
Dual citizen ship would be nice. oddly enough the replacement hip parts were made in the UK about 25 miles from where we live (exeter) and the doctor at Hornsby said he worked at our local hospital in Torbay when he was younger.woody U.K.

I was born in Hornsby hospital, so it has a long and glorious history.
Impressive runner beans! You need a ladder to pick them!"Look out! Mum's in the shed and she's got a hammer!"

Just hope you don't get the winters to match - the Thames froze over all the way past 'London Bridge', they put cart wheels on the sail barges and sailed them on the ice.
In some of the storms around the same time, ships (Dutch East Indiamen) hit the botom in the middle of the Channel as the wave troughs were so deep.
