    Back in the seventies, I read a road test of the MG 1100. The tester had a great time, thrashing it around the country, entered it in a motorkana, generally found out everything the car could and couldn't do. Then returned it to the hire car company

    Bungee car rental

    years ago group of mates spent 4 weeks all over north Island NZ (yaeh Bledesloe cup again ) (sorry.) driving an Avis van with different sign writing over it. Management were not impressed.
    I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

    Dockies called me to the swains table one morning & asked where i took the car on the week-end. I said nowhere...didnt drive it. They said i was lying & because i was BM i had access to the keys & there was 700 unauthorised klms on it since friday.     The whole rentacar/motorsport thing got to be such a problem that CAMS inserted a specific regulation banning the use of rental vehicles in motorsport, unless they were specificaly intended for the purpose.

    there were guys who would pick up a car thursday afternoon, throw a cage and a halda in it, run a rally, and return it with a straight face monday morning.......untill a few got totaled.
