Well ok then, sticking strictly to actual bones I'd go for the femur...
Broke mine in a car accident when I was 17. It broke right at the top and couldn't be plated. Ended up in traction for 8 weeks...

Actually, I'll have to pay femur because some sources say it is the "longest, strongest bone in the human body".
If you were playing Trivial Pursuit, the answer would be the mandible, or jaw bone....

This might be a case for your intrepretation of "strong" There are thousands of links on the internet all saying the femur is the strongest bone namely because of it's sheer size.
Taking the skeleton system as a whole the fingernail enamel is considered to be the toughest substance...

There is much mischievousness in your ways - it must be the jaw bone. At this point I declare that I am in fact right and will pose another question. If in the next couple of minutes Silent can give reason otherwise I'll edit it out.
Ok – what has earth got in three differnent states that some other planets in out solar system have in only one (or perhaps two but definitely not three).
