A change in the wind. . .
Just been chatting with the chancellor of the exchequer re Adelaide WWS
She is applying for annual leave for 17and 18 July and the following monday so's she can be there too
Wait - there's more...
She reckons that spending 2 days at the show will "give us more time to look around"
Hang on - there's even more...
She said "You're not planning on spending thousands, are you..."
Which I take as tacit permission to spend hundreds...
I wonder what I'm doing right...
JedoWhen all the world said I couldn't do it - they were right...

Jedo,
SWMBO came with me to the Brissy show and I think she could've spent more money than me. In fact I now have permission to buy a Jet mini lathe for christmas and she has promised me that next year we will be taking substantially more money than this year to stock up on timber and all the assorted odds and ends that are on sale at the show.
So taking Swmbo is not always a bad thing!!!Have a nice day - Cheers

The Melbourne wood show just so happens to coincide with my Princesses birthday.
One year I bought her a Honda powered compressor and a generator.
The next year she got a bandsaw, the year after some power tools.
I cant work the woman out, she hasnt touch any of them....?
Wmhahahahaha....

Be careful Jedo, when women are concerned there is always an ulterior motive! Some have a strange logic, where if you were to spend $500 on tools they get to spend $500 on clothes......
Fortunately SWMBO was bored out of her brains the last time I took her so now I'm allowed out unsupervised, yay
Have funIt's better to be thought of as a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt!
