Grape Vines.
Just wondering if some one can shed some light on this for me. I planted a white muscat gape vine here at home about 10 months ago now and its hardly grown at all. We live on black soil and even though it compacts well I have give the root system plenty of space with a more than ample hole. I have used afertilizer basicaly one of those does every thing type of tins and the vine hasn't really done a thing. I throw water into it at least once a week and still nothing. Any ideas?

Has it lost all of its leaves? Given the time of the year, its probably dormant.

Yeah dormant this time a year. And any time of year, if its not growing, the water you keep putting on is not being used, so it is building up in the hole. You'll end up drowning it (the roots rot away). Grapes don't need much water, so don't water unless its growing really fast.

Thanks for that as I will be honest, I had no idea how to look after them. I always wanted a vine here at home and the first one did and this is the 2nd attempt at it.
