I'm pleased to here you are OK. Yes time is very important with AMI (heart attack). The quicker treatment is initiated the better. It's good you had the option of the stent. For us that would be a ~500km transfer. There are some advantages to living closer to a big centre.

Emergency calls to 000
A work of warning re 000 calls. If you are in a situation where you need to make a 000 call, make sure you call "triple zero" and not "triple oh". There is a BIG difference!

Glad you are OK Rich, I had my first at 38 after running over a 13 year old kid on a bike, the second was when I was studying marketing at night school, I have just had my second stress ECG and the doctors said that I went well and got further than most people. Thanks to a strict diet and regular exercise.

Ice
I got an email a while ago about ICE( In Case of Emergency ). List in your
mobile phone those people you want called in an emergency under "Joan"
ICE, Joan could be your wife, daughter etc. Or try listing the same people
as "Joan" - wife. So if you have an accident and can't talk, someone can
go through your phone and call anyone that needs to know.

Oh yeah, if you're someone like my wife and never has credit on your phone - 112 still works.

Another good use of the ICE is you can contact the owner of the phone when you find it. A few month ago someone dropped their phone in the shop I work, so I rang the ICE number and the customer's husband came and picked up the phone before his wife came home and realised she had lost it.
They were old age pensioners and could ill afford to buy a new phone and pay out their existing contract so in this case the Ice number worked well.
