Finishes for a coaster
Can someone please advise me the best finish to apply over drinks coasters. The coasters are made from Tasmanian Oak stained with Cabots oil stain. I was thinking of using danish oil but am not sure. I would like something that will be resistant to heat (ie. from coffee mugs) as well as resistant to water stains.
Thanks

try the wattle floor finish not sure what its called but it is what they use over cork tiles and i use it on my coffee tables and it can withstand hot coffee spills (both hot and wet) it dose not stain the timber as it would if you used an oil.
