Acid metal dye
Hello all. If anyone can tell me where I can find a supplier in Australia of acid metal dye, I would be grateful. For that matter, I would be grateful for any thoughts on the best type of dye to ebonise or otherwise colour wood. My reading suggests that aniline dye is prone to fading.
Thanks
Andrew

For wood you can try, white vinegar with as much steel wool dissolved in it as it will take.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
