    Default Exhaust Fan

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum but anyway. I am installing a 250mm exhaust fan in our bathroom ceiling. It is a raked ceiling newly gyprocked. How do I vent it to the outside? There is only a small cavity between the ceiling and the roof of around 90mm. Is there something I can buy that goes on the roof to let the steam out and stops the rain coming in?
    Regards
    Greg

    Yeap, a whirlybird.

You put it in the roof over the place that the ceiling fan goes & it can fit up inside the tube.

If you are in a cold area, (WA is a big place) you will need to find a whirlybird that has a damper in the tube that can be closed.
    Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
