Default Air vents old style bathroom

90% through the ensuite make over of our 70's home and I am trying to find the old style corner air vents they used to install in the ceilings (see pictures)

I have 2 choices simply fill in the old holes (the easy way) where they were attached or buy a couple of new ones to re install so it keeps some of its 70's character. Yes we do have a proper exhaust fan in the ceiling as well.
So any knowledgeable members out there know if these are still available and where from.

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

They look simple enough to make from a piece of marine ply?

With a slightly different hole pattern, perhaps, to simplify manufacture, but...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Hmm, thats a new one for me. I would try some of the older plaster supply companies in Sydney.

I doubt if these were a very popular stye, but someone may still have the mould.

You can ring around and someone will know them from a verbal description.

Otherwise if you were really keen on keeping them, they are not that difficult to copy. They are only made of neat casting plaster.

If you cant find them and want to go that way email me and I can tell you how to go about it.

Otherwise fill the hole is the easy option!

    Cheers

Thanks Skew for you reply and thanks Rod as well for the reply. I agree that they may not have been that popular but every wet area and toilet in this house has them, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets and the laundry area as well. The easy option is to fill the holes and thats what I have done and thats what I will be doing as I get to each area that has them down the track.

    Thanks

    Chris
