    Default stylewood alternative

I've been using wattyl stylewood 10% lacquer for years.
yesterday, the paint guy tells me that their not making it anymore
apparently I'm the only bloke in Australia that uses it.
30% is the lowest gloss they make now.
is there a similar product that is as forgiving of dodgy spray gear and bad technique? that I don't have to clean my gun?
can I lessen the gloss somehow? somebody?
    thanks underfoot

You'll probably find the 30% will be ok.

I reckon you could flatten it off a bit by adding some sanding sealer to it, but you'd have to experiment to get an acceptable mix.

    Thanks Bob
The 30% is just that bit glossy.. I'll try experimenting with adding sanding
sealer but the sealer I use is spirit base and the lacquer is thinners,
is there a sanding sealer that you know of that is compatible?
    cheers underfoot
