    Default f17 or mgp 10

    I have to replace existing ceiling joists,I was going to use 90x45 KD does anyone out there think I would be ok using 90x45 pine.The span is 3.6

    I think you'll need a hanging beam whichever way you go on those dimensions.

    If you're replacing them due to sag, I'd go with a hyspan or similar - having said that, (and I may be way off) you could marry these into the existing joists I guess and reduce the impact on the ceiling (though i suspect there is no ceiling left at the moment!)

    Hi

    Are they continuous spans or single spans, what centres are they.
    MPG 10 900 centres single span 140x35

    f17 900 centres single span 120x 45
