Took elderly mother to doctor for her monthly shots, got myself a cod-i-da-bose while in the waiting room for an hour - bleargh. I think I'll abuse some over the counter madication later & pretend the world doesn't exist for a while.

Uhh, in a really strange twist of fate...
I was talking to another forum member.
My local 'hardware store' here moved and re-opened on Thursday, and there happened to be a section of the tool department that has a certain orange hue to it. So I visited it again tonight.
After quickly going over the place end to end (and it's long drive, let alone walk) I felt like a kid in a candy store with $10 in his pocket.
If I only had the $10...

Chain-sawed some tree stumps into root ball turning blanks. Probably waited too long, cos spalting is almost punky after a year or two outdoors.
Prowled SMC. I'm not sure SMC is ready for either Cliff OR Bob.

Fortunately had two of the grandsons 3 1/2 & 14 mths from noon yesterday till 4pm today so only happened to tune in at 3.20 while eldest was playing pooh on the laptop , as they were up at o500 hrs didn't miss it as much as some

try saying cold-in-the-nose when your head feels like someone has squirted a couple of cartriges of goop up your nose.
Unfortunately drowsy-type anti-histamines wear off after 4 or so hours.

Actually did some woodwork, if you call nailing up 5400x25x150 treated pine planks on to posts to keep the mules in real WW.
