This evening Meg had just slipped some money into my wallet and I was about to have a quiet one or two down at the Tolmie Tavern when I heard the sounds of a big low loader pulling up near our driveway.

On the back of the low loader was a dozer.

Ten minutes later the dozer made it's way through a bit of bush (the front gate was too narrow) up to our driveway, past the house and a couple of hours later I have some clear ground for the new new shed.

There were a few large rocks and old stumps etc but they are now cleared.

We will probably have to truck in about 30 or 40 cubic metres of clay to level it all out and then the shed can be started.

I'll try and take some photos in the morning.

Onya Meg, he doesn't deserve it of course, he'll just fill it with spiders...

Is there no stopping this Wongo bloke. First he tries to steal my planes then he's spraying his tag on my machines.

Thanks Wongo for making the machine "shop soiled" as we previously agreed, your cunning ideas are very creative and of course lucrative for both of us.

I'll split the savings I make with you. Would you prefer the payment in cash or python poo?

I am so excited about the whole project, I walked down to the new shed site and took a photo of the dozer.

It didn't come out very well in the dark. It isn't the biggest dozer around but the blade is 12 feet wide and the bit on the front is a tree pusher.

Whoo Hoo, New Shed, New Goodies!!

The bigger the earth clearing machine, the more fun it is to watch and the quicker the shed site gets cleared!!

Are you going to put an echidna door in your shed ?

    cheers

You don't want a door. If you put in a door, you'll just be tempted to go in there and ruin projects

    Lucky sod
