Bathroom renovation
Hello all
I,m new to this forum but have found lots of valuable info on it.I am doing a bathroom renovation in our timber framed house,my question is this can you fix jarrah t&g boards to the existing particle board flooring? If so what is the recommended fixing method?
This is my preferred option so i can maintain a uniform floor height with other areas.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Sort of depends on how above board the reno is ... because over here you aren't allowed timber floors in your bathroom anymore. I think due to water proofing requirements etc.
Otherwise, yes it is quite common to have a yellow tongue platform floor in new construction then glue and secret nail boards over the top.
