Default Owners Manual for Stihl 023 Woodboss needed

Does anyone have one of these babies.

I am servicing a friends one and he has lost or misplaced his manual.

I need the High & Low Jet settings.

    TIA
    Cheers

    G'day Brown Dog

Had a look on Stihl's website and it's looks to be the same model.

If you could find out the High & Low settings for me that would be grouse

Usually the basic settings are one turn out, this is close enough to start the saw, then adjust by tacho or ear.

    http://forestapps.com/tips/carb/carb.htm

The low speed jet is adjusted to get a good idle. Too rich the saw chain may still turn or the saw may flood at idle and stop. Too lean it will be slow picking up when you give it throttle, and may also stall. But you wont kill the saw if it's wrong.

DONT adjust it too lean on the H screw. The saw will rev high, have no power.. and sieze in the near future.

    Cheers

Yeah thats what I normally go by.

My mate asked me to fix it after he had it serviced by a service centre and it hasn't run properly since and they also put the chain on the wrong way too .

Will have play with it tomorrow and hopefully will sort it out for him.
    Cheers
