    Default wood chip mulch

It probably seems a bit sacriledge to ask about getting trees chipped for garden mulch in this forum but anyway, here goes... I am getting a pesky royal poinciana and silky oak removed, am wondering if there is any reason why either of these would be better or worse to use the chip as mulch for my garden. I have heard that the poincians are particularly attractive to termites...Any ideas?

Yep , unless the trees are small and not worth milling

Why not offer someone the timber in return for a trailer full, or more depending on tree size, of mulch. The smaller braches and leaves could still be mulched.
