Thread: What is a good home page?

OK seems blank or google so far.
It would just feel way too tragic to have this place as my home page - I need to be one click removed from such .
I might give google a go ( that even sounds good) as having a blank screen appear in the morning may be too confusing for my poor addled brain.
Cheers

Bleedin',
either of those would be far preferable IMHO to having some news based site as a home page. Years ago I decided to use a clock radio to wake up as I thought some soothing music would be a good way to start the day. I used to get the 5am news though and starting the day to the latest world wide carnage was actually worse than the raucous noise the alarm used to make. Enough crap happening during the day to send the stress levels up without starting with bombings in the middle east etc.

Yes some years back I had the alarm clock set to Allan Jones in the morning with the clock on the other side of the room. That worked - I had to get up just to turn him off but found it was a real shytty way to start the day.

add another vote for Google here.
I usually want to search for something otherwise I jsut go straight to a bookmark before anything is showing. (dialup gives plenty of time to do that)____________________________

BT, my home page is ninemsn.com.au
Can quickly scan the headlines, check the weather report and click on anything that looks interesting. The work computers are set to this as well. Those were the droids I was looking for.

I always use blank, and have a google toolbar. If I want to search, why go to google's actual page.
